Potlagel
Not Kosher for Passover
Not kosher for Passover.
Potlagel, a type of potato starch-based gelling agent, is not inherently kosher for Passover because it may contain additives or be processed on equipment that also processes chametz (leavened products). Additionally, some authorities have concerns about the kashrut status of potato starch itself during Passover. To be used during Passover, it would need to be specifically certified as kosher for Passover by a reliable agency.
What is Kosher for Passover?
