Chips

Kosher for Passover
Not kosher for Passover. Chips are typically made from potatoes or corn, and during Passover, Ashkenazi Jews avoid eating kitniyot, which includes corn and some other grains and legumes. Additionally, many commercial chips are processed on equipment that also processes chametz (leavened products), which is strictly prohibited during Passover. Therefore, unless specifically certified as kosher for Passover, chips are not considered kosher for Passover.
